In which I demonstrate that I know exactly nil about American University sports.

I don’t particularly care about them, either, but here’s a little weird fact that just BAFFLES me: The big ten conference in the midwest consists of 12 schools, whereas the big 12 conference in the south consists of ten schools. I’m just waiting for there to be an attempt to change the meaning of 10 and 12 to align more closely with these silly sport things.
